Nettleham Woodland Trust contacted us to install numerous information timeline signage at their recently installed Threshold Gateway back in April 2012.
Signtrays were fabricated to fit within the timber structure & powder coated to subtlety blend in with the local flora & fauna.
Full colour timeline graphics were printed to fill the face areas of the trays, depicting the conversion of the farmland back to a natural environment for tree planting creating the new Monks Wood along with marked walks & area for wildlife to return.
The scheme was re-visited again in 2017, where updates were added reflecting the extent of the developing woodland, along with some lectern style information point signs mounted on seasoned oak posts.
These were installed around a sensory walk at an optimum height for both the disabled & children. Each of these depicted one of the senses, Smell, Touch, See, etc to encourage interaction with nature at key areas forming a great educational benefit to school visits & the general public.
Monks Wood is an on-going project & we look forward to working with them again in the future.
